AUTOBIOGRAPHY. My life was restless but interesting. I was born in Germany and my family travelled all over the Soviet Union, as my Dad was serving in the military. These beginnings somehow still determines my life and I am still moving from place to place like a retired race horse who is still show jumping over barriers just because she cannot stop that race of her life. I have spent half of my life in the USSR, then another half in the USA and am now trying to reside in Europe, although I wouldn’t mind going to any different part of the planet if I have to. Growing up in a creative family I couldn’t imagine my life without art and culture and obtained a variety of academic qualifications, including MD in this field. Literacy and a sense of style in writing were always considered an essential part of general education in my family and in the country where I spent my formative years. My first real publication was a scientific thesis for graduating university. Later health sciences and alternative medicine in order to help people grew to occupy another large area of my personal interest, where I also obtained different diplomas and certificates. During the course my life I have published different types of articles occasionally, not too often, but since 2013 I have really committed myself to journalism. I’ve started my active journalistic work from the first days of the crisis in Ukraine, writing about the bloody events. I enrolled in some journalistic schools and completed courses to be able professionally speak out to stop a world on the brink of collapse because of lies, cruelty and injustice currently taking place. My first publishing within a political context was in Axis of Logic under pseudonym Victoria Parker and then under my own name. Later, I obtained the correspondent position in the alternative military-political resource Veterans Today. As a war correspondent I’ve visited Donbass and Nagorno-Karabakh republic. My latest trip was to Barcelona on the Oct 1st referendum of independence. Besides Veterans Today I closely cooperate with Axis of Logic and RINF.

“Axis of Logic has published numerous investigative articles by Alla Pierce. Her research and interviewing skills are impeccable and her ability to capture what she sees and hears in easily understood essays is superb. She has an excellent knack for getting to the human side of the story in places where humanity seems to be under constant siege.

"Citizen journalists are stepping in to fill the breech on the Mideast wars which corporate media is covering by using talking points from various Intel agencies. Alla Pierce answers her own call to duty and is off to the front lines of Nagorno Karabakh where a new combat journalist is born in the tradition of the handful of women who covered WW II."
